Ontario Basketball League-East and WEBL Leagues

The EOBA  (Eastern Ontario Basketball Association) is responsible for the Ontario Basketball League-East, which is a competitive league comprised of club teams from Ottawa and surrounding areas. Kingston, Cornwall, Brockville and Carleton Place also usually participate in this league. Games are played here in Kemptville and in the home gyms of competing clubs. Teams competing in the Ontario Basketball League-East are also eligible to participate in Ontario Basketball Association (OBA) tournaments and The Provincial Cup.

Warrior WEBL teams play Club teams from Ottawa, Brockville and Carleton Place. This league is a developmental/recreational league. All play is equal playing time and the emphasis is learning the game and having fun doing so. All WEBL games are usually  played in the Stittsville area. Warriors WEBL teams work on developing individual skills and team concepts based on Basketball Canada’s Long Term Athlete Development Model (LTAD). Team Rosters are limited to 15 players.

Both leagues play some weekends starting early to late fall until early spring (schedules TBD).
